- Easier to teach with a helper the idea is to begin this trick low down where it is not too intimidating for the dog.
- Kneel down side on to your dog and place your arms in a loop low to the ground then ask your helper to lure the dog through your arms with a treat, when your dog is halfway through reinforce and allow your helper to reward him
- Add command word and gently progress until you can kneel and then stand whilst your dog jumps through the loop in your arms.
Top tip; your dog can struggle with the initial confidence to do this trick; the helper can assist him by using a thin leash to guide him through the loop initially.
